|

Guys,
The front tire appears to be listed as a 120/65 for an SB8R
Limited tire options these days in this size.
Anyone run a 120/70 instead?
Issues? |

The 120/70 is going to be 6mm taller, so push the fork legs through the triple clamps 6mm to restore the original ride height. |

Just make sure that you still have plenty of clearance between your carbon guard and the tyre. SB6 had a 120/60 standard, a member on here replaced it with a 120/70 and it picked up the carbon guard and spat it out. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

I've got a 120 / 70 / ZR 17 on mine and there is plenty of room between tire and mudguard, just checked to make sure. Always had that size since I got it |

I have a 120/70 on my SB8 and there seems to be plenty of room between the tyre and fender. |

My bike just came, I took a look at the front tire and it is a 120/70
Seems to have no clearance issues. |
