Just wishing myself "Happy 10th Anniversary" of being on this Forum....How time flies...and its been fun fun fun all the way....I'll be spending a fair bit more time on here in the future...Just like the "nation"....I'm going "old Skool"...kids playing in the street....families out together....SHops closing early....Roads empty....next to no planes in the sky...Nothing on the TV...Holidaying at HOme…..Like being back in the 70's.....Lovely....Corona Virus aside that is
I've just had a "look" on this list......and of the top "50" most prolific posters on here...Ive met 20 of them in person.....Hhmmmm…..cant say the same about FB....and I'd like to say meeting each of them has been a pleasure...but I cant...No...just joking...it has been a pleasure....A lot of those 20 are on Fb also....
Special mention to Admin....x......For setting this up...without which I would be a rich man.....but not have so many bimotas or good times sharing and meeting and swapping "knowledge" and experience....
I'm counting Brian in as having "met"...coz we've facetimed....which was real cool....and I dont do that shit normally....but I did like it...kinda like you've been looking for your long lost brother for years...and then....one day...youre due to meet....
Laminator....The Original Blue Print of a swell guy that gives everything and asked for nothing.....although I did have to give his pink butt plug back...it really was surplus to my requirements...but thanks for the though.....
So I'm culling "friends" on FB.....and stepping back.....and going Old skool...ads and pop up free...get to see whoever posts when they post...Not the "selected" chosen ones that Facebook "allows and deems" you see....yup...they only show you feeds and posts from your own top ten posters.....
Nuff now...more later |

Happy forum anniversary 2bims! The forum’s been a great place for me too, but for different reasons. I knew nothing about Bimotas before lobbing up here, and where I live there are no other Bimota owners that I know of, so this is the only place for me to mix with like minded Bimota nerds. You in particular helped me on numerous occasions, be it knowledge, advice or care packages sent from one side of the planet to the other. Thank you
The forum is most definitely a wealth of knowledge for us to share.

I hope I’m still around for my 10 year forum anniversary, and also hope that I have a few of my projects closer to the finish line

I hope the same for you on both fronts...primarily the former....not holding my breath on the latter...teehee…..But whats the hurry?...You could be like me...I have absolutely sweet FA to do on any of my bikes...after having prepped them for the bike show....and normally I'd now be riding.....I fear for this winter...even if we're allowed out.....weather normally says "no"....and I'd still have nothing to do on any of my bikes if I dont get to ride them....loved receiving your care packages over the years also...T-shits, Bimota bags...Beer mug cooler tubes for my Diet Coke tinnies…..etc etc...Great to chat today also |
