Hi, new to the Forum, having recently acquired a DB9, I happily stumbled across your Bimota Forum, and have enjoyed reading the interesting topics posted here. I've decided to replace the Orion ABS mirrors with some CNC aluminium units. I have a question (simple as it may seem), I wanted to know whether the threads that take the mirror stems are the same both sides or whether one is left hand thread. I didn't want to find out the hard way! I'm also assuming its M10x1.25 Any info would be greatly appreciated. Cheers |

Welcome to the forum mate. Can you remove your mirrors and check the threads? Hi brian, I'm in Sydney. I tried to undo the mirrors, but the effort involved made me stop and think in case one had a left hand thread. Believe they haven't been touched since leaving the factory, so may have been torqued up a bit. |

Hi Gavin944888, thanks for the info, just what I needed to know!
Have to say that epic story of your visit to Bimota and the mods to your DB9 was how I came across the Forum in the first place. As mentioned I'm thinking of changing the mirrors on the DB9. I'm considering a pair of DPM or Lightech any thoughts on either of these two? (I'll try and put some images of these when I've mastered the art of photo uploading. Cheers |

Hello again, any thoughts on the mirrors in the link below.
The Lightech are the closest to original Orion ones.
DPM just look really good.
Please let me know, Cheers

I like both designs, I would lean towards the Black set. Have you looked at Rizoma? They are really well done and have several options. |
