Has anyone been able to remove what looks like pitting in the aluminum frame? I'm interested in a YB7 that has some spots similar but not as bad as this Tesi frame. |

Maybe a victim of the Tsunami???
Tis odd.....looks like it was flooded completely and then just left to rot...as lets face it..its got completely enclosed bdywork, so how has water and salt corrosion got to the frame plates, engine etc?....but prior to that looks mostly unused and with some care taken to it...blue anodised ferruled ends on oil lines wouldnt have been a Bimota item....I see it needs a couple of those special 70 Euros a-piece indicators on the rear....Didnt realise the Tesi used them also....The bike must be as wide as a bus with those large twin oil coolers stuck on the sides at the front... |

Really depends how bad/deep it is....light brushing/rubbing with a scouring pad, and/or wire wool can do the trick....but not rubbing so hard it removes the finish on the frame....other than that its deep polishing the frame which you probably dont want...WD40 rubbed in also cleans up ally.... |

That's what I was afraid of. I don't want to end up with a polished frame. |

I just don't understand why someone would let that happen to a machine like that.. _________________ Spike C.

you don't see them once the bodywork is fitted, so unless you want 100% stock look, powder coat them or have them anodised (but not purple, please ) _________________ Bimota SB6 and Benelli TNT 899S road bikes.

its a 22 year old bike, probably unloved after 3 or 4 years of limited use, difficult to sell on (prior to the Japanese catching on to the boom in "classics") and kept in a climate thats as harsh as the UK's.

even rarer - the Folgore Bianca 400...........
allegedly, 5 of the 51 400cc Tesis made were converted by White House into Folgore Bianca's (White Lightnings). _________________ Bimota SB6 and Benelli TNT 899S road bikes.

Nice. Not convinced that a 400cc 2 valve desmo would do it justice though _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

I see it has been sold on the web site
I hope the American buyer isn't too disappointed when they see it in the flesh
