So chicken are you saying you have ridden the BB3 ? Anyway I'm going to put some stuff into perspective. BMW come from aeronautical heritage & the founding members of Bimota are from the same school. Ever flown a helicopter or two ? Here is my strange point. The BMW engine in that bike is based on a Suzuki engine !!!! A K5 in fact. The best GSX-R ever built. So BMW take that platform & built it with an extreme electronic package. How do I know ? I'm an Aussie & a team of Aussies developed the thing. A man called Troy. So if Bimota had the money I'm sure they would build their own engine based on something competitive. That's what they do. However I don't see that much money in the pot. So , do what you do well.

Yes I rode the BB3 Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy although I rode it like a child.
What does it mean when the light above the dash flicks on white ?

BMW had a K5 as a reference, but if you want another little tie in. Troy Corser rode the Suzuki in WSB taking the title with Alstare, the company racing the BB3.

I think this is the traction Control system sensing that you must be riding it on "snow mode"........... Laughing Shocked

Certainly wouldnt have wanted to be the "one" that binned one of their bikes with such an audience.........So I think blue/black lights for "ice mode" would have come up if I was riding one.............
