I think your dealers probably right...wait for it to arrive, ride it and then start tinkering...they are usually set up HARD....so depends if you have good roads...you'll have hours of fun playing the low and high speed compression and rebound adjusters on the rear shock....check to see if you have a tool to adjust them...same with the concentric at the top of the shock for ride height...a tool is needed for that also
I could send you an electronic version of the owners manual for DB7 if you are interested...give you something to read...same suspension |

very kind offer mate that would be fantastic , I was going to post about available manuals etc .
I will try to obtain a tool kit from alan or measure up and make the necessary tools ,
Alan also took my measurments down and said they would roughly set up the bike for me , fast road and supply track settings .. bike set ups elude me if im honest , you think its just right then Boom you low side or get a proper tank slap !!! like you say tho , hours of fun
where abouts in Manchester ar you from , I had a couple of years in New mills just outside stockport , Matlock was a good run out , cat and fiddle road and loved the A628 upto Penistone/Barnsley _________________ Cheers , lee |

| I'm. South mcr, around 5 miles from stockport...matlock used to be a good run...but cat and fiddle road has deliberately not been maintained... Average speed cameras on there and helicopter eyes in the sky..bad news...pm me your email address and I'll send you a file share so you can download it onto your hatd drive....too big to email |

2bims , that's a shame for the cat and fiddle , the choppers were around when I rode but u could still have a good ride especially through the week as they typically came out on Sundays ! I always remember pinging it around a long left , 120 ish only to be greeted by a stray sheep in the middle of the road just staring at me , good test for my breaks ha ha .
Will pm u email addy .
Bimotacarbon , great username and thanks , I thought u had one when I saw your username _________________ Cheers , lee |

Ha ha , nice try , you could try !!
If you have any pics at all of the bike I'd realy appreciate them , I like to know the background and history of my vehicles ,
The bike was originally built to promote the brand etc some say for alan personally , some say for fx , I think it is a nice in between for the SP and oro , no idea what price they were asking for a "carbon signature " but they obviously didn't sell , that good for me tho . Alan did say it was offered at $75k Ozzie but wether that was sales spin or not I don't know , did it have a price tag on at motogp ??? |
I'll look through my photo's when I get some time Lee. It didn't have a price tag on it at the time and I didn't ask as I recon if you have to ask the price you CAN'T afford it, and I definitely couldn't afford it _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

'Good roads'... not many of them in Queensland. Hope you have some in WA. Definitely some beautiful roads in most of the other states in Aus... Tasmania is definitely on my future trip list. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

You must be happy as Larry....or at least look it...even your Mrs seems pleased...I'm assuming that she's thinking the little pad on the rear is for pillions? and hasnt realised theres no footpegs for her yet?
And quite a crowd gathering to see it also.....that takes a bit of getting used to........Just how close were you to slotting it into gear and heading off down the road? The urge must have been incredible..... |
