I think that I may have first posted in the wrong section, so forgive me if I have.

I have hit a major hurdle in bringing my YB9sr to road worthiness. The wave washers on the front disc bobbins have corroded away as have half of the circlips. Do Brembo do replacement kits?

As this bike has Marchesini rims, the front which has 90mm wide hub centre, so the discs need the 30mm(?) offset carriers. Many photos on the web show bikes with the same discs, yet I can not find them.

Are there other Bimota models with the same disc? some DB2 were the same but I can not source any with the required offset.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction?

It might be better to find a brake specialist or a maim Brembo dealer who can rebuild the discs
If Brembo don't source the parts you could try KTM parts, although I don't known which ones

Any large retailer of Brembo or any good Italian bike spares shop will sell the bobbins and washers. Some washers are wavey where others are plain, likewise the circlips are available...do not be concerned...I've even made my own discs using these parts and they haven't gone ping yet!
Buy with confidence and fit with fear!

YB9 discs are certainly a problem finding if you want a new set.....the Bimota DB2, YB4,5,6 also used the same Brembo discs with large offsets.and early SB6..as did the DUcati Supermono...and some racers...Brembo no longer make them...so a rebuild may be necessary...the discs are "rattly" full floaters....high cast iron content and thicker than the stainless steel later discs....there are specialist companies in France still making exact repro copies...new discs...gold anodised carriers...same profile and offset etc etc..can get you the details if you wish....Or Try Rudolf of Bimota-parts.de...he always has a good used set available...but pricey....Clean up your discs and inspect them carefully...as they are prone to cracking around the drilled holes...so inspect them carefully...do this prior to rebuilding them...I bought a set once...looked fine until I cleaned them up...and then every second hole had hairline cracks going all the way through the discs........So I returned them....
