Does anyone one know what Brembo model caliper is on the rear? I think its a model P32b, but the guy I spoke with says that model has only one inner sealing ring and mine has 2.

| There is usually a seal ring along with a dust seal. Is that what yours has? |

I have no dust seal, but have two seal rings as I mentioned. It looks just like the P32b _________________ pete |

| Is the seal closest to the pad thinner, (from top to bottom) than the other seal? |

| I see one dust seal, (closest to pad) and one pressure seal. I would measure the seal sizes and check on some of the jap bikes that have the same size pistons. That design is widely used in the jap bike market. |

Hey Peter,
I may be out in left field here but, I think the entire brake package on your SB6R was lifted directly from the Ducati 996 of the same year; rotors, calipers, pads, master and rear brake cylinders.....the whole shebang....

well folks…due to the wonderful world of litigation…you can't get a kit or rubber square rings to fix your caliper from Brembo…i did however find a replacement caliper for the bike from cyclebrakes.com…nice guy out here in california…about $100.
btw…the major leak occurred at about 110MPH through wine country…nice puff of smoke like james bond mobile as the wheel sprayed the brake fluid onto the silencers! _________________ pete |
