First post, so just saying Hi.

I've been looking at DB5's for a while now and have finally found one that suits my needs - see Vort28's post in the for sale section !

Haven't got it home yet, but made a space next to my '04 Ducati 749r.

Pictures and newbie questions to follow Wink

Congrats on buying Vort's bike. It comes from a pampered stable...
I'm based in Albrighton, so hope to see you out next year.

Welcome to the Forum Waggtee..and to Bimota ownership...you know it makes sense...If youre after making it sound a "little louder" we do have direct contacts with Zard in Italy for straight bolt on aftermarket end cans or full systems without the Cats in....You can source them locally from a dealer in High Peak...or if you want to go direct and save some pennies just give us a shout...Comfrtable bikes the Db5...not always a first for Bimotas...and can be used for touring, or just straight old blasting around a and b roads.....with enough power to have fun without trying to kill yourself...Enjoy

Thanks for the welcome guys - hopefully catch up at some of next years meets/ride-outs.

It's a nice standard bike which doesn't need anything else and I'm planning on keeping it that way (place you bets if the first photo uploaded shows a nice Zard system on it Laughing )

All arrived OK (at my pad, not Utah Laughing )

Looks (and sounds) as good as I remember.

Just need a bit of rain now to wash the salt and crud off the road so I can use it.

It's a great feeling when the bike finally turns up hey. y first bim (sb6) arrived on transport at my place at midnight... no, not delivered by santa but a nice man in a van from Melbourne. I couldn't stand the waiting.

Glad you got your bike mate. Now hopefully some good weather for you.
