Hi guys, did anyone join to this race in the past o this year?
I did 2009, 2010 and 2013 edition, the last two with my DB5
this is a part of what I posted on my blog:
Hi guys, I will to share with you my emotions I felt on the last Ducati Speed Week, on Pannonia race track.
The weather for the race weekend was good but very hot, luckily sometimes a breeze blows in the circuits.
For the race I record myself in two classes, the desmodue (named B) and the protwins (named H). As you can undestard the first one was reserve for only Ducati 2 valves engine, the second one is for all two cylinder engine (Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Harley&Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, Moto Morini, Suzuki, Yamaha, ecc...) with a separate schedule for Ducati 2 valves engine.
The last time I went in a competition was 3 years ago, and it was 2 years I didn't wear the leather suit, so I thought I will struggle during the week end.
During the first two days I ran with no idea if I did a good lap or not but I tought I didn't ran very well because I did struggle on few bend of the track, in theese curve I couldn't push as I wanted.
On saturday I recived the corfirm when I saw the time laps. Luckily some guys ran very good in the past in that circuit weren't there, some other had problem with their bike and other, unluckily for them, fell during the practice or in the race. So I had less opponents for the race.
The races cause the hot weather was very hard, but this condition was eaqual for all of us, so I tried to keep a good pace without push very hard on start for let down the rest of the race, in this way I could did some overtaking during the competition.
My result are 8th place in class B and 11th place in class H, but in this class I gave the 2nd place for Ducati 2 valves schedule.

Great pics!
That Looks like a TON-O-FUN!!!
I liked the "peep hole" video vantage point. It made me feel like a stow-away mouse.....

thanks to all
No, my DB5 is original, I just changed the last part of exhaust system and the software in ECU.
The other part is like when it went out from the factory.
I usually use it on street too. _________________ http://bcomebimota.blogspot.it/ |

Could you tell us more about ECU upgrade please? I guess your DB5 is 1000, not 1100? _________________ Bimota DB7, Bimota DB5 Mille, Ducati 916, Ducati M900, Benelli Tornado Tre |
