Rossi past his best?
Before the start of the season I thought Rossi may get lucky if conditions were perfect and MM took a few out in the odd race this season.
Then in Qatar he rode like the old Rossi and I thought I had maybe written him off too early.
But since then at Texas (a new circuit so hard to judge), Jerez a favourite of his, and Le Mans another old Rossi favourite, it has not happened.
Its looking like I was correct pre season.
Amazing career, and possibly the GOAT but its now looking like a downhill slide. _________________ Now - SB6R, GSX1400, KTM 990 SuperDuke

Well you say LaMans didn't happen but he came from wherever on the grid up to third, holding the bike together longer than Lorenzo but then crashed. He go going again and came in close to his grid possition.
Lorenzo looks to be having a few problems too. In other seasons he's hit his rythm and gone but this season he working hard but not getting the pace.
This isn't looking at taking anything from Honda who have got their bike sorted. They really did it from the end of last year when Pedrossa started winning but I guess it shows more this year because they started level.
Cruchlow seems to be showing his metal and that yamaha's bikes aren't so different from last year. Spaulding is saying the fuel tank design is different putting the weight lower but also a bit further back something that Rossi is trying to change to get more weight over the front ... _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

Mmmmm - 8th - his grid position. He's been an amazing rider, and great for the sport, but I feel he's no longer one of the 'Aliens'.
Cal's having a great year. And I have been surprised at how well the Honda's are doing. I thought Pedrosa's golden spell at the end of last season was mainly down to JL being 'title clever', but the Pedrosa/Honda package does seem to have a bit of an edge at the moment.
It's making a superb season so far. Bring it on again in Italy! _________________ Now - SB6R, GSX1400, KTM 990 SuperDuke
