Well, I did it! I bought the lower triple and fuel light switch from Graf-bimota in Germany. It was quite interesting dealing with the language and time barriers.
Here is the funny part: When I wired the money the exchange rate was 1.284% and when the bank in Germany cashed out the wire, the rate had jumped to 1.310% and I ended up shorting Mr. Graf about 20 bucks. He was quite jovial about it and called it good.
What is happening to my once great country is deplorable. Let me assure my new friends in Europe and around the world, we are doing our best to repair the mistake that is sitting in our White House. Our President and the rest of the progressives that have hi-jacked our government are out to destroy the US Dollar and it's working!
REST ASSURED, WE WILL FIX IT!!! Evil or Very Mad

The first ever African American president had such a great opportunity but from where I'm standing he seems to be supporting terrorists and not supporting his own people......

Oooooooh, sorry!

I didn't mean to start a political debate on this forum.
However, I would be glad to discuss politics with anyone, any time, as I am a semi-professional political pundit and have a habit of burying my opponent with facts. Laughing

The big problem with politics these days is, as always, there are two sides to every debate; the right side and the wrong side. The problem comes when the "wrong" side lies and deceives to appear to be in the right and uses the media/propaganda to slant their view and convince the uninformed. It was Hitler and his cohorts who said:
"Tell the lie often enough and the people will come to believe it."
That one didn't end well...... Laughing

cohort
co-hort (noun)
1. Group of people; a united group of people
2. Supporter: a supporter, accomplice, or associate of a leader, especially one to whom special treatment and preference is given.

Specifically, I was referring to Josef Groebbels, Hitler's propaganda minister. I believe it was he who coined the quote mentioned above.

.....and surely you didn't mean to call me Shirley..... Wink Laughing

....and that's it for politics from me on this thread. If someone wants to discuss politics with me, post up a new thread in the "Non-Bimota" topic header. Honestly, I do politics all day on other venues and here I only wish to address motorcycles & stuff. I was actually amazed (flattered) at the interest in my country's politics. If the topic intrigues me, I will participate. Actually, I can't help myself. Wink

Group of people lol
A Cohort is a tenth of a Legion of ancient roman soldiers although the number changes. I know from the Eagle of the Ninth story when I was kid.

Cheers Very Happy

Thank you!

Today, I learned that you can learn something every day.
No doubt, that is the "root" of the word and explains its origin. Thank you.
