These -
They're "Race" type so much lighter than the metal heatshield and they're faced with heat reflector so your arse stays cool _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

Very nice they are too I'm sure, but not used on the 6R buddy, the 6R exhausts don't have a shield fitted, hence why I asked.

I've not been on it for over 4 years, throwing it at the marshals takes a while to sort!!
But no, it didn't get hot. Even on the dyno it's not got warm/hot and there's no airflow really around the back of the bike when it's on there. Bimota must have leared from the SB6............................

Still haven't fitted my heat shield yet . Might get time to do it over the Christmas break. Still, it does look cool on the wall of the shed and it won't be seen once fitted to the 6 _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |
