They don't come apart easily......ask me how I know
If you can't get the scribble off the face, I might be able to help you out

I live in Coalville Leicestershire...so about 2 mins from north Leicester m/c's.
Get on well with Olly and Alex there and they know there stuff..sales side is a diff story but that's for another time.
The guy has fucked the clocks..the rev counter is sitting at 12k when off and don't move.
What's the other clock alternatives? Did I hear Koso mentioned? |

...Koso is the preferred as Bimota fitted them on the later Bimcati's.
I fitted an acewell on my 6R fighter and I'm about to fit spa gauges to the latest 6 project.
It's whatever takes your fancy really as all the modern digital clocks are a doodle to fit _________________ SB6 mk1 (project mega light, big bore)

Just had a look at those koso clocks..and I ain't keen, and the ace well is more supermoto/street fighter.
What other things have been used that are pretty common to get hold of? I spotted a gar clock which looked small under the big fairing...is there something that fills the space well? |

Stuart at North Leics M/C's had some mph clocks like those, I bought them off him but they didn't work and he was going to send them to the fella he knows to have them fixed again. Might be worth asking if you want proper clocks. _________________ 03 YB11, 03 Aprilia RSVR Edwards, 94 Ducati Superlight III, 95 Honda NC30, 04 Ducati 999S, 91 kawasaki KR1-S C2, 91 Ducati 851 USD Strada, 89 ZXR750H1, 90 ZXR400H1, 205 16v Rally Car, A6 2.7TDI Avant, STM R1 engined Phoenix |

...With this type of standard clocks, there are two types.....
The first type are the ones that are fooked...
The second type are the ones that will soon be fooked
Whilst your messing about in the area of the clocks, my advice is to "upgrade" the original clocks to a reliable set of after market instruments _________________ SB6 mk1 (project mega light, big bore)

I'm sure I paid about £185 for them but returned them in person as they didn't work correctly. Stuart seemed a nice guy, we only chatted for a few minutes tho as it was one evening at his house. As Oily states they're not the most reliable of things, then again mine have done 4k miles and work ok, other than the usual thing with them that you pull the front brake on and the clocks (both) die for a second and then continue to work. Bit of an issue approaching a camera, you dab the brake and look down and can't see how quick you're going! Personally I like the std clocks, but have no doubt the later aftermarket replacements are more reliable, more accurate with more features _________________ 03 YB11, 03 Aprilia RSVR Edwards, 94 Ducati Superlight III, 95 Honda NC30, 04 Ducati 999S, 91 kawasaki KR1-S C2, 91 Ducati 851 USD Strada, 89 ZXR750H1, 90 ZXR400H1, 205 16v Rally Car, A6 2.7TDI Avant, STM R1 engined Phoenix |
