Well, finally sold my GSXR1000 k6 last night. It was a fantastic bike but whenever the sun comes out it's the SB6 that feels the tarmac! The Bim makes the Gixxa somewhat sterile... it's all I thought it would be!
The word that springs to mind is visceral...
vis·cer·al [vis-er-uhl]
adjective
1.
of or pertaining to the viscera.
2.
affecting the viscera.
3.
of the nature of or resembling viscera.
4.
characterized by or proceeding from instinct rather than intellect: a visceral reaction.
5.
characterized by or dealing with coarse or base emotions; earthy
Definition 4 is a little worrying tho'...
Just sharing with ones I know will understand coz nobody round here does! _________________ C'est moi! |

Definition 4 is probably the most accurate, certainly around here
I see the rot has started, you'll soon be looking for another Bimota to keep the six company _________________ SB6 mk1 (project mega light, big bore)

I'll save the big bore idea until it starts to feel like the honeymoon is over! In 1990 I had the treatment done to my GSXR11 by TTS and didn't stop smiling until I was side swiped by a car... the thought of a 160 bhp SB6 makes me come over all funny _________________ C'est moi! |

Oh dear well and truly taken, and now you have no spare bike, you'll be needing a spare Bimota, one is never enough, 2 is marginal, one running, one needing fettling and improving, I think three Bimotas is the ideal minimum |

Correction.........
That'll be 1147cc
Standard barrels are 1074cc that's an over-bore of 2.5mm
and yes.......it is worth it _________________ SB6 mk1 (project mega light, big bore)
