Oh I do hope so, was very dissapointed to hear the lefties didn't get in in Greece. Don't mean any harm to them or others but was hoping that the Euro could fall back to that memorable 2 euros to one GBP of some 6 years ago. Would rent an artic and travel Europe buying up seemingly cheap Bimotas......May even have set up a "Used Bimota" Business, must be more fun than the day job.

But in answer to the questions, No to the first, Sunny in Mcr today and I have the day off. DB2 passed its MOT again, off out later, and the second Question....lets Hope Eh?

Oh No, you won't guess this one, although it is Bimota Related topic, more info later and I will need a heads up from any guys on the Forum also that may be interested in contacting "rucksack" who joined this Forum in the last week, as he is lurking around searching out Bimota Fans. Strangely he is also interested in SB6's....and I may have passed Oily on as the preferred candidate and representative.....Should he so choose to accept the offer

Yes indeed chaps it is rucksack, aka Chris Newbiggings and "Weeble" the photographer from Practical Sportsbikes that came round to do a feature on my DB2, courtesy of him reading the resto thread on here, and thus chaps, put your restos up and who knows, he may contact or contact him?. The Feature editor as he's called and the photographer are both freelance so who knows how they pick what bikes, s'pose they have to sell the idea to the magazine first for approval before they head off to do the article.

Slightly mis-calculated the time it takes, some 6.5hrs after they arrived they left.......... And then they have to choose the pictures and write the story, Jeeso, and they travelled from Peterborough to Mcr and back in the day, Thus 2 blokes for 2 whole days to do an article that may take max 20minutes to read, Kind of puts the price of the magazines in perspective.

Next issue is July that is out NOW, but supposed to be featured in August issue on sale 18th July.

Will post up if the date changes for anyone interested. Nice to have some professional photos of the bike, seeing as the cameraman had over 10K's worth of gear with Him to take the pictures. 38Megpixel cameras, didn't know numbers went that high Laughing

Well, either scraping the bottom of the barrel or going upmarket, who knows? suppose theres only so many '80's and '90's Jap bikes they can do features on before they run out? Practical?? Well parts are readily available from your local Ducati dealer, or specialists in Germany. Only the frame and tank are the parts I've never seen for sale, and at least you don't have to drop the engine to change the front sprocket Laughing
