True..... I thought you were selling them for the "pre-preg" prices as they look so nice..... Still even at about £300 cheap at half the price... haha... |

Surprisingly, no body has asked me the price of the frame protectors yet
Perhaps that's what's holding back any new orders
Does that mean the people that have ordered them are a trusting lot....
and the people who are sitting on the fence are an un trusting lot
Any way, after much deliberation, I've decided to sell them at the original estimate for the first batch . BUT if you want a pair at a later date, the price will be going up to try and re coup some of my outlay
...SO, get your orders in NOW before the price hike _________________ SB6 mk1 (project mega light, big bore)

Well joking aside these would be well over £150.00 if they were sold by a Bimota specialist. So for a limited run and some that are made from moulds that have taken a pattern and corrected all the wear and tear of age to make them back to perfect again these are possibly made from the best moulds possible. They have no "fudge factor" lacquer sprayed on them (like most suppliers do) to get the glossy finish and only have the lightest polish to remove the residue Chemical release agent on the surface. |

Hi oily and morepower,
the protectors are looking great, i'm very happy that you decided to use the same twill as Bimota used
I am looking forward to getting mine, though i think i might have to introduce some colour somewhere as the bike will be very black... _________________ Cheers

It was more of a practical decision I would have to admit. Twill distorts just looking at it and can move in the mould like the tide... lol..
Back to colours.....
My little 250 will be all carbon so as I wanted to have a bike that was more like a 250 KTM GP bike I will have some colour on it but it will be a dyed lacquer not a paint finish. This will let the carbon weave show through but still have some colour to break it all up... It is translucent so it should be quite nice.

If the value of the $ were to go up and/or the value of the £ go down, I'd almost be tempted to buy a set for that future SB6 I may purchase. _________________ Look for my books...
