Morning gents, day of my SVA and the bloody SB8K will not start. Have fuel but no spark. New to the wonderful world of the SB8 and needd the bloody thing to run for the noise test so any bright ideas are wlcome obviously other than sell it to Oily.
Have until lunch time to get it running, to then load and trailer to VOSA.
As of yet I have not been able to find a fuse box, anyone know where it is ?

Mine is front left as sitting on bike, left of the clocks! Try the handlebar switches for poor contacts first!, my ind fuse was 7 amp, soon blew, so a 10 was ok! Gd luck!

Does it prime the fuel pump when swithched on and the run switch on? If not, left side of the p/tank theres a connector, check this, cant see it coming apart by itself tho,only if the tank has been off! its a good way of imobilising the bike- disconect when left long time over winter, no one can start her !

Hi Akito. Fuel pump primes and ijectors are spitting out fuel. Plugs are getting wet but appears to be no spark. Engine whirls around but just not kicking in. Looked at around the clocks/front end and cant find any sort of fuse box. Is yours the standard match box sort of bimota one with FUSES written on the top ?

God I hate electrics.
Half the bike now on the garage floor, still no spark, and still no fuse box. Where the hell can it be ? Not even a mention of it in the hand book or the manual. Great.

hi vort

let us know what happened.
I just checked the SM owners manual I've got here- no mention of fuses anywhere !

The bike I wanted to have tested 6 years ago went up in flames 10 days before the test date- it's like taking the cat to the vet- they just don't want to go Confused
