I'm not familiar with this model, but TWO batteries? Shocked

Is this a stock Bimota arrangement? Are they both small batteries? My GSXR-1100 only uses one battery, so unless those two are really small, I don't see a reason in two. Confused

This is the stock arrangement, it uses two smaller batteries as there is no space for a normal battery like the one used on the GSXR.
The problem except for the increased weight is that they are in a really bad place, right behind the headlights and below the instrument cluster.

I had a cover made for mine which gave the cockpit a cleaner look. I never minded the batteries being there, its easier to get to them for starters. Come to think of it, its the only part of the design that is easy to get to Wink

I like those reservoir caps Evilchuck, what brand/where were they from? Kind of understated titanium look, better than plastic or die cast painted metal and more classy and subtle than bling

engine ready to be dropped :

About the tacho problem: when I bought the bike it worked well. Changed tyres and it stopped.
I think the tyre has reassembled in some wrong way the front axe: can you tell me if the following picture has the right position of the spacers before and after the tacho gear?
