Whats everyone/anyone using in their Vdues as gearbox oil? Time for my 500mile change and fancying a change.......Open to answers as what anyone is using? Only takes around 900ml so price isnt such an issue.... |

Cheers Trev....I've been looking at Motul stuff...and Putoline also....75W or 80W...and whats the difference? |

Cheers Brian....can always trust you to lighten my day....rather than enlighten....
I put up a post on Practical sportsbikes facebook page also to ask the 2-stroke nuts there...and have ended up with some tube moaning that the bike is a V twin 500 and not an L twin
I even posted up this picture in my "defence" and now hes arguing V or L is the angle its fitted in the frame....which to me is still an L not a V...but not to him....re reckons its coz Bimota called it a "V"due...but then we all know how much artistic (autistic) license that Bimota employ...

Hello I have to replace the gear oil that lubricates the bearings too .... the manual says 10w40 oil but piero says to use 75w90 according to you what should i use ?? |

General consensus is gear oil . Go with what Piero recommends. |
