Hi I have had my (tricolore) Evo a month or so now, got new tires on it, adjusted idle, working on rear brake - but I have been riding it a good bit, its in basically amazing shape, low miles, head over heels in love with it.....

Every thing I have done in terms of working on it has been an adventure / different / not easy.

The oil looks clean thru the glass and at the right level, but I would feel much better knowing its fresh and would like to change oil and filter.

I know I'll eventually have to take off the fairing, but I'm scared of damaging it.

I can put my hand on the filter and can see / I think access the oil drain bolt and know I can loosen fairing to access fill...

So can I do an oil change without removing the fairing?
