Hey guys!
I am new to the forum! Just got a YB9 SR and got around to overhauling most of the parts.. I am trying to source a tool in order to remove the fork cartridges, but these are pretty rare to come by!
I’ve seen the other post with the manual etc, but can’t find any information on the tool, and would either buy one off Someone willing to sell it or manufacture one if someone is so kind to share the measurements here
Best regards,

Hello,
didn't you see my answer on my blog?
In any case, I can repeat it here:
Outside diameter is 37.8mm. Inside diameter is 25. The Long pipe is 26mm outside and 15mm inside. The overall lengt is approx 450mm.
The distance between the flats is 32mm
Hope this helps.
The docs are available at my home page:

Thanks! I've just checked the answer also on your Blog!
I'll crack on making the tool- maybe a friend can help me with the lathe.
That's very nice of you giving me the measurements, there isn't much information on these forks.
I'll try to document the rebuild process meticulously and take enough pictures while on it. I'll also try to find the right sizes for the o-rings since I haven't found them anywhere to buy.
The seals on mine where 43x55,1x9,5/10,5- I shall see how the fit when installed and report back.
I'll try to make a post on the chat section with the whole thing!
If you have any more information regarding the o-rings and the other consumables needed you can let me know.
Best regards,

That's great. I am looking forward to that. I haven't done my forks yet, only replaced the oil from time to time. I have bought a 43mm low friction SKF seal kit (for a Kyb) and hope it is suitable. For bushings and o-rings, I haven't bought anything yet.
I hope to service the forks this winter if everything goes according to plan (which it seldom does). _________________ Anders

Thanks for the reply. I’ve already contacted the seller- he Dienst have any 43mm parts or tools.
Good news is I’ve finished making the tool myself, after using the information on the forum!
I plan on removing the forks and doing a rebuild next week.. I’ll take plenty of pictures and start a post when I am done
