OPTIONAL UPGRADES?was it possible to get upside down Marchosi forks on the YB8 when new ? I'm trying to get validity so that i could run it in pre 89 as well or instead of pre 95 POST classics racing.
I'm keeping it original and stock and road registered .
I got a 2nd on its first outing !

Marzocchi M1R only back in 1989 I’m afraid. But they’re not a bad fork - plenty were raced in the day.

You can always get a cartridge kit fitted to the M1R - Maxton or similar can do this and transform them into something approaching a modern fork with compression, rebound and preload adjustability that works far better than the original. Maxton will even leave the fork caps in the original state.
