Tried to look it up in the parts phish, but it is not listed.

Anyone know what grips Bimota used on the SB8R?

Unless there are any makers marks on the originals then theres probably no way of telling.
Personally I wouldnt get to hung up over it if you want to change them. I use Renthal road race dual compound they take some of the vibes out of the bars and still give more feel than most.

I used carb or brake cleaner to put them on. Clean the bar / throttle tube spray the cleaner on the bar and inside the grips and you'll probably get them 3/4 of the way. Use a long allen key worked between the bar and grip then spray a bit more cleaner to get the grip home

Im not necessarily looking for 100% factory correct.

Bike has these tacky aftermarket grips, just want something more fitting or period.

Was hoping someone knew that a 1998 CBR/GSXR/YZFZ was the same.

Yes, unfortunately you need to upload your photos to a photo hosting site like imgur or Flickr. These 2 are still free to do so

I found on the YB series, Bimota often use the original part numbers for imported parts (e.g. my Bike uses Ducati indicators and has Ducati part numbers). So try using the parts manual number.

Additionally, the host bike often provides many of the parts, you could look there.
