The seat bolts delivered to coaters yesterday. The last two weeks he has had a family death, one staff member at his main business left, one was sacked and he got an infection and is on antibiotics. Cutting some slack seems appropriate.

Should get them back within a week. Note that the thread major diameter has been cut at mid tolerance to DIN spec. The plastic ones I measured were just about below min diameter . If the thread is a little tight on insertion on your bike I suggest tapping out the frame thread (M10 X 1.5). To clear out any accumulated crud.

So, two weeks on and today the coater advises me his black paint is out of date validity and because he has decided to stop his cerakote business at the end this week (News to me!) , he wont be ordering any more. Parts are in the post back to me!

I’ve already contacted another coater fora quote/lead time and will advise asap.

Sorry folks!

No worries - hang in there. Again, many thanks for arranging!

We might all end up following the trend setter 2bims having shiny fasteners.... Smile

Thanks for your patience folks. My original source was a hobby/business and happy to do small items/batches. Most larger coaters won't or have higher minimum prices. Anyway have now found someone who'll do the seat fasteners (just a little bit reluctantly!) so I should deliver them to their premises tomorrow. Slowly, slowly....!

Great job welshlamb, along with everyone else, thanks for your efforts. Just a simple question: have you tested one in place to check the threads etc? Have a good weekend! Kit
