Been a long time but I found my SB6 x3 plus various Japanese friends in the garage. I was overseas not a guest anywhere…. Time to put them back on the road. Long story but one could do with a new frame due to a small crack!! Been there forever but I see some frames for sale these days. A rare thing in the past. Anyone know if SB6R frame is the same as SB6? Afterthought, anyone got an SB6 frame they want to sell?

SB6 frame is different in quite a few ways from the 6r frame, particularly the bodywork mounts. Not really interchangeable at all. Depending on where the crack is, I would be investigating getting it welded. You may be able to source a NOS frame, but it may not come with papers, which may prove a bigger headache than a bit of welding.
