Reaching the end of my lockdown YB8E rebuild...
When I got the bike the Piaoli stickers on the forks were facing forwards. However, I've seen others that face out. How will it have left the factory? Or is it a case of what they felt like on the day?
Thanks
Jim

I don’t have a YB, but the Paioli forks o my DB4 have the stickers on the side. There’s a raised circular outline cast on the fork bottom for the sticker to sit in. Not sure if the YB’s are the same?

Have you been able to buy these Paioli stickers anywhere? I searched for them at one stage but couldn’t find them. I’m missing one of them

I found these...
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PEGATINA-PAIOLI-MOTORCYCLES-SUSPENSIONS-DECAL-VINYL-STICKER-AUTOCOLLANT/263234216903?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=562230012072&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

I don't think they're quite correct so I'm not sure if will put them on.

My YB has the 'b' casting but not the little circle for the icon. The stickers were at the top of the fork lower, just below the dust seal.

I'll check a couple of mine later...….but I know the ones you mean....at the top of the fork lower leg where the dust seals are......I think....I had ones on the outer and inner face....as opposed to front and back....But...its Italy....they could be anywhere....good spot on the Paioli sticker though...NEver seen those before....

Dont you have a spare now that you've got your DB2 fork legs that you snagged?

DB2 doesn’t have the little round raised plastic Paioli stickers.

Although I now have 2 x DB4’s and each bike has one sticker and one missing Crying or Very sad. So I’ll probably transplant one so that my good DB4 has two and the track DB4 will have to go without

If you peeled them off...you'd find they are clear colourless vinyl...with just black paioli lettering....I have them on the silver fork tops on my db2...a vinyl graphics company shed be able to print some off

These guys in Italy might be worth asking. They have a selection of Bimota decals.

https://www.decalmoto.com/it/bimota/783-yb9-sr.html?search_query=bimota&results=3

Very good pricing. I have just ordered sets for my '95 RGV250, '86 XR250 and '93 Honda RS125.
