Yuasa YT12B-BS is what came in my DB4. I just ordered a WPS lithium battery # HJT12B-FPP yesterday. My Yuasa died after 8 years!

I'm still not a fan of Li-ion batteries and weight isn't a big issue for me. I use a YT12B gel battery

I'm with you Brian I'm not keen on LI battery's... I wanted to use the same size battery in all my bikes... so Ive used a Yt12B-BS in all but one. It also has a CCA of 210.

Yeah I had a Lithium battery melt in my race bike one time as the reg/rec died and fried the battery. I was lucky it didn't catch fire. I wouldn't want to be trying get a burning or mantling battery out of a Bimota Shocked

Strange that...My enduroline died one month after this post...after 8 years of use.....and thats also why I wouldn't do lithium....Lead acid batteries are getting cheaper and cheaper...and if looked after last some 8 years.....not sure yet if lithium last this long...but with the price of them I'd want them to last 4x a lead acid alternative....And I'd like a guarantee that I would last that much longer also to derive benefit....My Uncle at 76 years old...no longer pays extra for "extended" warranties...just in case he doesnt live long enough...
