Dear all,

I'm just cleaning the carbs on my 900SS. I know all the details about that carbs, because you can find it in the web. Now I search for all details for my DB2 carbs, found nothing.

Ducati 900ss, Mikuni BDST 38 B67 :
Main Jet 140
Atomizer or Needle Jet Y-2 (ring on level 4 from top)
Jet Needle 5C19

Does anyone know the details from DB2 carbs ? Or are they completely the same ?
kind regards roland

Found the following from when I had my 94 DB2 carbs apart (not sure what the specific Mikuni model is but they are identical to the ones on a 94 Ducati 900ss):

Main jet 70
Idle jet 37.5
Needle jet 119
"Diaphragm" pilot jet 1.4

The needle in my carbs and in all the diagrams I've found for a 900SS of that era doesn't have grooves for a circlip on the needles to adjust the needle height. If you want to raise the needle, you can put a small washer on the needle before you drop it through the hole in the slide. The only way I can think of to lower the needle would be to deepen the countersunk area of the slide where the needle sits.

That's all I had written down and/or remember so hope it helps.

Chuck S.
