I had an injected vdue years ago and got it running quite well. My question now that the latest vdues have the upgraded reliability mods and carburetors , has anyone done considerable miles on one? |

Some question...they are frenetic to ride....60 mile journey you need fuel...and a rest...I know of one with 6000miles....I've done 2000miles in some 7 years....vdue owners cherish them...rarity...fragility...and the fact they will own other bikes means low mileage....I doubt any vdue owner only owns that one iconic bike |

I've don about 4,00 Klm over 4 years on mine. A few issues at the start but mainly trouble free over the last 3 years.
It is an injected one but different ecu |

2Bims, the bike in my avatar is a project bike that has been in progress for a couple of years and getting close to being completed. Just waiting for the machining of the mag swing arm that I bought off Piero a year or so ago to be completed & then Trev45 can come over & track test it.
It has a lot of mods incorporated in it & will post a few details & photos in another post.
My road bike is the one I am referring to in the Klm post |

up to around the 8500 miles on mine. Only had a new starter sprag clutch, 2000 miles, and a new piston/ recoat to barrel at around 6000 miles when I nipped an oil feed between the airbox and casings. Its a Trofeo from around 2006 that I picked up from new. reliability been fine otherwise and its done 3 TT fortnights and a couple of Manx GP weeks in that so its had a bit of stick

No I missed the Vdue there - only another 3 years and I can zip mine around the track - that should be fun! _________________ KB1x2, SB3 SB4 BB1 DB2 Vdue Evo YB11 RB1 Ducati MHR Suzi GS650 |
