I've had some back and forth about the bike with the seller. It belonged to daotoys1 who was on this forum as well as Ducati.MS and some other forums. He had 3 SB8Rs. One "tricked" out, one set up as a naked and one stock low miles. This is the tricked out bike, minus its trick wheels and some other pieces. It has a pipe and Bimota fuel trimmer and allot of little cosmetic pieces which aren't stock. I didn't get far enough in the conversation with the seller to find out whether he had the stock pieces. He did have an extra fairing as I recollect.

Frame slider mounted to the CF section slightly confuses me.

Hi, I don't visit this forum much. Bike is Mine. One of Doug's as mentioned. Just not riding it, want to move on. Bike is in great shape, but it is a riders bike, not necessarily for collectors. Took off the frame sliders, and replaced them with original engine mount bolts. I have black as well as silver wheels, etc, etc.

More Recent pic. Prev owner thought there was too much black so swapped out for the red belly from a non 'S'. I have unpainted factory bodywork and plan on going back to black...

The original owner swapped the pan out for more color than the black. I have sets of OEM unpainted panels if you wanted to go back to black.

Feel free to contact me directly if you want all the details.

I've owned the bike for ~5yrs, but just want to move on.

Would the original piece for an RS be plastic or carbon fiber?

I suspect that all the Belly's were plastic, but I would defer to other owners, as I've only had this one, and it came with the red plastic from an R! I put up an inquiry to the SB Sub-forum, but haven't heard back.

I think I'm going to withdrawl from sale for a while. Not worth giving a great bike away. I'll probably spruce up a bit and put it on other sites, sell extra bits (wheel sets, unpainted plastics separately.
