Would prefer it to be Australian complied.
I spoke to Ian Gowanloch [ the importer at the time ] and he said he bought in five.
Condition- complete but not necessarily mint.

I do like the colour scheme on that YB5....even if not original...kind of updates and modernises the look....and Drew could buy and ship
Mind you...if I went down that route...I'd ask him to buy this one as well...all non original as Kwacker lump....but then you could use it everyday and not worry
https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/g191423908
seems to translate as £1300.....bloomey eck!!!
(Mind you...lower pictures seem to just indicate a seat unit and front mudguard...me no speeky jappo)
Mind you the YB says £2600...presumably start listing prices?? |

The YB5 hasn't reached reserve yet so who knows what it will go for. However, the prices are relatively low in Japan so you could get a bargain. There is a YB7 for sale on there at the moment for $1500. Cheap. |

Thanks for that Fish... so I found the YB5 on Buyee...joined the auction house...organized my paypal...spoke to a shipper...then Buyee informed me that I could not bid on this item... it appears that Buyee is an auction and shipping company and a item like that requires to much paperwork as far as customs are concerned |

If you joined "Drew Unobtainium" on Facebook.....he could organise all for you including bidding and shipping.....I think he's a Brit....but he lives in Japan...and this is his job....he organises the bid, the crating he makes himself and then he ships with paperwork...evidently for a fee...a couple of people on here have used him to get 2-strokes out of Japan and sent to the UK |

I ended up biding on it through a company here called Import Monster, which specializes in Japanese auction houses. [ thanks for that rpo83 ] I didn't set the reserve high enough so I was out bided... which was a shame... as it would have been a fun project |

I just hope the new owner doesn't start stripping it down like the DB4 that's on that site at the moment |
