Has anyone replaced the clunky steel structure with a tail tidy?
If so, any recommendations? |

not yet but thinking about it , thought of a DB5/6 style as that would be easier to fit and look more original. |

The DB5 suggestion together with keeping it as original as possible gave me an idea. All I need to do is remove the number plate and indicator mount bracket off the tubing and then find some elegant way to mount them under the seat.
Maybe off the hand rail mounts?..
Needs more thought. |

I've thought about it and DB5/6 have a protruding flat under the rear light.
As I don't like to damage original parts I think the best way is to get a new underseat closing panel made and mod/drill that to accept DB5/6 bracket. |

Theres a Company in France...advertising on Ebay...that makes replacement number plate and indicator and reflector holder for Bimota DB5's and DB6's....which is made from billet with all cable hidden...can be bought with LED indicators and rear light unit also...nice piece of kit...and this would then need bolting to underside of seat unit....and evidently cables re-routed |
