Hi!
I’m from Portugal and a passionate about Bimota’s since the 80’s and have always been following the brand since that time.
Fortunately due to my previous work with the textiles machines that was with Italian brands I had the opportunity to know a lot of people connected with manufacturers or even some owners of brands in Italy, so since 2006 that I’m cooperating for Portugal with the owner of the Vdue, also due to the profound textile crisis and with the pressure made by my friends I’ve started to work in a lot more professional way with motorbikes so since 2009 that I have a official license to work with the Aprilia’s (already had some training courses before made in Noale) and since the end of 2010 also I’m the only one working directly with the Bimota for Portugal for technical assistance, with all the software, etc..
As stated before I’m really passionate about the Bimota’s, because for me they represent the precision of work and care that I always put on the work that I develop, maybe due to the high precision mechanical and electronics work that I was accustomed in the textile machinery were we talked about precision of +/- 0,01 mm and not +/- 0,1 mm as is normal on bikes.
For me the best road legal bike made until now is the Vdue, because I’m a defender of the real hyper sport bikes and for me the only ones are powered by 2 stroke engines.
I use this avatar picture because of my nickname, my friends call me that because I usually take every vehicle to the “max” and always try to use them like that when I’m racing. |

Ahhh G'Day. Ppl call me Mundy, first name Mad. I am located in. Newcastle Orstralia. In my office are a DB7, SB6, F3 800, GSXR-1100/86 & a RGV800. I am ex-industry & have raced since 1991 having spent my younger days dirt tracking with a world champ or two. I usually get out every two days or so for a ride & do the "Island" most years. I've owned countless bikes over the years & when I saw a picture of an SB6, I had to have one. I do all my own work but for dyno runs. I'd put some piccie's up but tried that months ago & gave up. If any blokes want to catch up on the eastern sea board ? PM me. _________________ if you aint` slidn` , you aint` ridn` |

Ok this is getting off the original subject but an RGV800 is a SOS. Hand built. Suzuki of France considered it & actually made one for the serie's. It went up against the Ducati & made 85 RWBHP. Ran second in the group. My bike is 96 RGV250 chassis,DR800 engine, front end K5 Suzuki thou.......it is off it's head. Too many mods. Google the thing. _________________ if you aint` slidn` , you aint` ridn` |

Bonjour from France!
I am not riding a Bimota yet - but I think it's only a matter of time.
My girl friend bought a brand new BB1 back in 96 and this was the start of our relationship which led to our marriage! Alas the BB1 is long gone but our love continues to blossom. We both ride Ducati's now ( Monster696 -/Multistrada1000S) and living near the Pyrenees we can also exercise them properly!
I have my eyes on buying a DB6 and have already received some advice from 2Bims before even joining the forum - marvelous!
Anyway, I'm not a total newbie as regards this bike, well the engine anyway. I've had 4 Multis that I do virtually all the servicing/repairs on including fitting my own tyres. So who knows I may even be able to offer some advice, but not on oil and tyres!

Welcome booney,
Bimota was the start of your relationship with your wife. .. Excellent.
If I'm not careful, Bimota would be the end of my relationship with my wife. _________________ vince

Hi from New Zealand
I am the proud owner of a 2006 DB6 and so far enjoying the Itialian exotica. My bike was recently imported from Japan so i dont have much info on the history except that it has dome 9800k and has had a few extra's added.
Any advice for a new DB6 owner would be appreciated.
