Apart from recent race bike in Australia coverage it seems a LONG time since any YB5 content posted. I have always liked the lines of the bike and that 1200 Yam motor is great out of the box and able to give a bit more (see R.Farquahar 3rd with FJ1200 in Classic TT 2015)

Got me to thinking are there any YB5s running in UK? Never seen one 'alive' . It would be great to see some photos and related stories. _________________ Not as many bikes as I would like and already too many to keep up with! |

Looks like the Answer may well be NO. I know at least one was sold in UK as I saw one for sale in 1988 (£1500 as a crash repaired vehicle!). suspect they get less airtime as they aren't seen as a 'sporty' Bimota (not that that stopped the DB3 discussions!) _________________ Not as many bikes as I would like and already too many to keep up with! |

Well after the recent FleaBay sales there should be one more back on the road at some point (but at those £££££ not with me aboard!) _________________ Not as many bikes as I would like and already too many to keep up with! |
