Hi to all, just joined up.
I have a G plate YB7 for sale, lot of work done on it, new bearings, seals, tyres, exhaust valves etc. It's in fair condition but is a devil to start; once it's running it pulls well. I'm looking for best part of £1950.
Thanks

Thanks for the welcome.
Yes, this has the 400cc FZR motor complete with EXUP valve.
Should have mentioned it is taxed and MOT'd until the end of September. _________________ it's not the breaths you take each day but the days that take your breath away. |

600cc transplants are very common with the standard FZR Yams, so shouldn't be any different with this. Unless Bimota have played with the wiring..........
Or you could have the 400 tuned to F400/250 spec - the BDK-tuned one racing (and winning by half a lap) at Croft last Saturday has 72rwhp! |

Thats the way to go, leave it as is, get that engine out and get it prepped with tune time, I raced the fzr 400 sp and its plenty bike enough, what you loose on BHP you more then gain on agility , handling and corner speed. If I did,nt have to go to work for a year I would be grabbing that little beauty! _________________ Pomps
