Hi Smiley,
congratulations! Hope you keep us informed about the progress.
I can measure the pipes for you. But I think the racebike had larger diameters. If you want to go for standard diameters, why don't you by a header from Bimota Classic Parts? Paolo has the later two pieces header system available which was introduced with the SR. That should be much easier.
Wait... Geekay first wanted to use a 996 engine. Which engine do you want these headers for? Will you use the original 851 base? Paolo also has the 68 mm crank available, which was used for the 904 ccm engines and also for the racebike (probably modified).
Tell me if I should measure the pipes for you. _________________ 2x SB3, Tesi 1D SR |

Hi yes its got the 996 engine, will probably get a mate to weld up something similar to standard Tesi twin pipe outlet, just wanted a start position in the thinking.
Will keep the forum up to date with progress, cheers |

The header twin pipes have an outer diameter of 35 mm, coming to one with 45 mm. The muffler pipes have a diameter of 50 mm. _________________ 2x SB3, Tesi 1D SR |
