Hi, I just registered here - very happy that the forum is back.
I recently bought a DB5s, with 1100 motor and Pegaso ECU. It is the black one from Motorcycles made in Italy which found its way to Germany
A few years back, I had a DB6 with Walbro. Admittedly, I am quite surprised that the ECUs make such a big difference. While the DB6 was just perfect the DB5 will need some attention. Hope that Armin of DRT Schneider will sort it out.
Cheers, Frank |

Welcome to the forum and congrads on the db5.
Surprised you bought from the UK with the euro the way it is, thought Armin had a few new DB5S hanging around. |

Thanks much.
@vort: No, I bought from a German dealer. Seems to be an attractive business model for dealers over here. You'll find quite a few low-mileage bikes from the UK sold here. My Duc 1098 also came from England. |

Good to hear its not just the Brits that are buying up bikes from abroad, just thought the exchange rate would make it very dear for you.
Enjoy your new toy !!! Have heard on people getting aftermarket tuning boxes to work with the early 5s, just needs set up time and a good tuner to play with them. |
