				| Took an overnight trip on the DB6 to a stretch of road on the North Carolina-Tennessee border. the stretch of road is called Tail of the Dragon over 300 turns in 11 miles. It was about a 4 hour trip to get to our lodge the night before. We then did the 11 mile run and headed home. My friends carried my overnight pack for me on their touring bikes, but I could have just used a back pack. We hit a huge rain storm on the way up and pulled under a shopping center just because the lightning was really bad. The DB6 was flawless through the rain and throughout the trip. Just make sure you wear padded shorts if your going to ride over an hour because the seat is STIFF.

				| Cheers for the piccies and write-up Buffa....looks like a road worth travelling to.....Can also confirm that the DB6's work in the wet during several travels...and that just before they need fuel again after 100 miles.....your derriere is grateful of the break from the saddle.......Real strange to be honest...as they got the Db5 seat spot on....ride after ride never an issue in between petrol stops | |

				| Yeah the seat is a literal pain. I think this winter I will look into what can be done to make it better. Maybe better foam. Ive not ridden an R to compare my DB6 to, but the previous owner added the steering damper from the R model. It's great to be able to adjust it on the fly. I think I'll be taking the Tesi up the same route before the riding season ends. | |

				| Youre not missing much compared to the R model...it comes with extra pieces made of carbon compared to the standard model, front guard, winglets are carbon and painted, infill blanking plates are carbon....spoiler on sidestand....Cambelt covers...main difference is it has a slipper clutch...that I dont like anyhow...makes pulling away a painful process but I suppose its useful if you miss a gear change at the wrong moment and have to knock it down mid bend etc which it can do without alarm......rear shock is upgraded also....main piece of kit thats useful is the on the fly adjustable steering damper...that you have anyhow....I've ridden a standard 6 without one and in sidewinds...and at speed the steering can get twitchy without it.
another fellow on here in Oz I think....has a 6 and had same issues with seat...simply had it re-upholstered with deeper foam...flattening the profile fore and aft to make it slightly longer also......apparently that solved the issue...and now can ride all day without issue he had before......looked all right from piccies also........
