				| Seems the SB8Ks sell for quite a bit more than the SB8Rs. The only thing that (I think) would bother me about the r is that air duct over the handle bars. I had a Suzuki SV1000 and loved the big v twin, over the idea of little maintenance compared to the 4 valve ducs. There's an sb8r for sale near me, wondering if it's worth trying to sell the yb11 to replace it with the sb8. And don't tell me I should have both. Any thoughts for those who have ridden or owned both at one time or another?

				| Well, of course you should have both. A buddy of mine has an 8R that I've ridden, although not in a while. The tubes are not that much of a big deal...they "go away" after a short while. What I constantly noticed is you can't see the switch gear on either bar and not all switches are the same for different manufacturers. I love v-twins and have a few of them, hence my user name. I've never owned an I4 but I've ridden plenty of them, they just don't do it for me. _________________

				| You should own both
Vort might be able help as he owns a yb11 (although heavily modified) and an sb8 (although a K not an R). Come to think of it... he might not be much help

				| If I bought the SB8R without selling something then I would be up to 7 bikes. And following the bad example set by some of you here. I suspect I'd get myself into less trouble with the SB from what I've read here, and I personally prefer the torquey feel and rumble of v-twins, but wanted to hear if there were any arguments in favor of the YB11 over the SB8R
