You probably heard of this from magazines, but since all new Bimotas have Continetal tyres for first installation it is maybe wise to post it here. Mine front tyre from DB7 fitted in this category… was nothing wrong with it, but local dealer change it without question regardless of 5000 miles done. So new front tyre for me

Exchange program on Continental 120/70 ZR 17 and 120/70 R 17 motor cycle front wheel tires

Continental tires announced a voluntary tire exchange program covering approximately 170,000 Continental 120/70 ZR 17 and 120/70 R 17 motorcycle tires. Market feedback indicates that a very small number of these tires have exhibited a condition in the tread and/or belt which may lead to separation and possible air loss. Continental has not received any reports of accidents or injuries in connection with this condition. The exchange program is being initiated to avoid any potential risk to road-users.
To protect Bimota’s owner we would to inform you about this; if your motorbike it’s equipped with a Continental tires, one of the model listed below:
