If anyone is interested Piero has sent these over, in Italian of course, but with Google to hand it wasn't too hard to work them out.
Only bit I'm not sure about is right and left. As it refers to differences between the two but I'm not if right means the right carb as you are looking at them as you're working on them, i.e looking from the front wheel back to the carbs or does it mean the one on the right hand side as if you were sitting on the bike facing forwards?
Obviously best way is to ask Piero but my Italiano is not so good. Any thoughts?
Also if anyone wants the settings let me know....

As thread
http://www.bimotaforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=3816
I have 220 and 225 in mine and so does Nige. Would be interesting to find out what people actually have compared to what the paper says they should have. |

bottom carb - right carb
220 main
K76 needle (3rd notch)
DQ 258 sprayer
Top carb - left carb
220 main
K83 needle (3rd notch)
DQ258 sprayer
Float level
27mm main jet to float arm
So note the change from 230 to 220 for the left carb. |

True but these settings are just the starting point
riding and reading the plugs are the true test
as fuels and rider makes a difference on jetting

Can anyone shed any light on some good initial settings for these screws?
I assume these are mixture screws. But I had one set to 1.5 turns out and the other 4.5 turns out. Can't believe they would be that wildly different.
Would they be the same settings for both carbs?
I realise they would be some tweaking involved but if someone else has done the hard work and has a good starting base would be much appreciated.
Once have this done and new servo cables are here should be MOT time! Yippee!!!!
Thanks,

Yes, fair point Trev. Just seems odd he's changed to both 220. As even the A4 paper he posted off to me had 230 on there and then changed it back to 220. And on my RS250 I have different mains in each cylinder.
To be fair he did say these were "fast road" settings and not "track" settings as they are different.
Still I have 215/220 mains and different needles and sprayers/atomisers so should be a difference I hope... |

the right hand carb was 4.5 and the left 1.5. I would have thought they would be the same or if not slightly closer than that. just don't have a lot of confidence in the settings. 1st real time i've looked at the carbs as spent more time fixing the other niggly things and riding my other bikes! |
