Very nice indeed...and with the added extra of the fuel tap on the left....take your time re-fitting the standard pipes....they need to be fitted to the seat unit off the bike then put them on the bike to the headers....And if your DMV is anything like the UK one you'll need to fot them....noise levels of the Jolly Motos are 105-110Db at half revs of full power...4500 revs...
With the standard pipes you should creep under the 100Db limit (or at least thats what it is in the UK at the test...) |

Very nice mm500. Did the crate have the bimota logo on the side? I'd so like to have an original bimota shipping crate... Especially if it had an original bimota inside _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

brian, yes it did.
2bims, as long as the original exhaust is fitted they don't check the Db |

How would they know which is the original exhaust then? Cant imagine they will have seen many Bimota Vdues in Norway........
Our UK Standard yearly test does not test the Db levels...but may put advisories on the certificate to protect themselves if they appear "noisey"...Meanwhile the test for newly imported bikes does test the Db levels with the engine at half revs of full power.....Although for V-dues...as long as you can convince them that the bike is over 10 years old...such test is not needed...just a simple MOT.... |

Looking good...and will be better with the shiney black wheels...and Jolly moto pipes...take it easy until you get used to it........and once you've mastered it.....sweet.....found anything that doesnt work as it should yet?
First gear can be tricky to get away...and if you stall it...it wont start in gear...even with the clutch pulled...you have to ensure its in neutral, and the neutral light is on (because you can get one or the other at times...but both are needed)...the rear sprocket hub assembly is normallt silver even with black wheels...may look good in black also though? |

everything works as it should
I had to use heat to get the front disc of the wheel, do to treadlock.
I need to figure out a solution with the front bellypan screws rubbing against the carbon airbox on bouth sides. |

Thats a good sign on the front discs.....when I checked mine they were only finger tight........Oh eh......
Oh the belly pan screws....you may find several different lengths of screws holding all the bodywork in....but all the same diameter and thread.....on the belly pan the shorter length is sufficient...and should clear...or put protective sticky rubber pads on the areas where the screws meet........But oh my....arent you "prescious" with your new toy??
Thinking about it...and looking at the carbon air box...each of them has "dimples" 2 No...that must be there to accommodate the screws...so if yours are touching then change for shorter ones...simples |
