Having a bit of a tidy up and want to change one of the headlights of mk1 sb6.

Does anybody know which bike they came from? It says Stanley 5729 on the lens. The closest I have found is from an rc29 but the mount is wrong.

At the same time I am changing the plastic mounting bracket which is held together with a piece of number plate to a machined alloy one. Can't see it but I know it's there.

Thanks

The lights changed between Mk1 and Mk2, the Mk1 has smaller dia than the Mk2.

I don't know which bike the Mk1 is from but the zxr / gsxr sounds familiar. You could measure them, look for a replacement and make a mount for the new lamps _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

				Thanks all,

Got one from Kawasaki for the ZXR. It's a different mount but I can change that.

Here is the before and after of the headlight change.

One lens changed, rewired and a new mount.

Thanks to cymarc for the bracket, great engineering.

That's pretty much how mine look. If you find they fit tight because the lamps are bigger at the back then undo the coolant expansion tank. _________________ Don't read everything you believe |
