Hey All,

Im new the the Bimota world, loved the SB6 since the very first time I got a glimpse of one back in 1996. Very happy to have one in the shed!
Anyway, went for my first ride the other day and the clutch would not fully engage after it warmed up. Is it likely to be old springs or the slave cylinder slowly clapping out?

Has the bike been in regular use ? If not try an oil change the plates can get a bit sticky otherwise.
Slave cylinders are a bit of a problem, the seals can go off, we are talking about a 20 yr old bike afterall.
You can try changing the fluid in the clutch, again if the bike hasn't been used a lot it might be a better to change the fluid in the brakes as well.

Welcome to the forum mate, and congrats on the sb6 purchase. Where abouts are you in this beaut country? Tell us a bit more about your sb6 and we need pics or it never happened Laughing

There's a few threads on here about the sb6 clutch and clutch drag. I'm assuming your clutch is dragging slightly when the lever is pulled in? My sb6 had been sitting for a couple years before I got hold of it and the clutch was dragging badly. a good flush and change of oil and plenty of use and it's come good now.

Cheers,
Brian
