I dont know...........You pop out for a quiet trip on a Sunny Bank Holiday to your favourite Haunt up at Rivington Barn....Taking the preferred choice of the Frenetic 2-stroke...........And as if by Magic......Another one turns up.........Proof enough that there is more than one in the Country that runs.....Well for now at least..........Hello Vort...good to meet up....
Another fellow biker up there did confirm though that there was a sighting of 2 No. V-dues together up in the Lake District Last weekend??? Anyone on here???

A dry Bank Holiday - glad you made the most of it. Got out for a quick 100 miles on the DB5 also which was great.
Can't own up to being up in the Lake District last weekend unfortunately - and don't own a V-due either |

Haa... common as muck those Vdues Just kidding fellas.
Would have been an eye opener for anyone who 'knows' motorcycles. To anyone else they would think that you 2 boys just bought them and rolled them off the showroom floor, although better styling than a lot of bikes of today.
Not too many pics of vort on the forum 2bims, so you did pretty well there Looks like a popular haunt for bikes hey. Nice pics mate _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

Yes the elusive Vort in person.....a rarer sight than a Vdue almost.........the bikes brought a lot of smiles from folk in the know...which always seem to be fellows in their forties that know about them...30's and below have never heard of them...and neither have folk in their 60's and above....usual questions asked "What engine is in them?" "Do they run?"........"Did you bring them in a van or have one waiting nearby?" etc etc.......but both performed faultlessly again..........although listening to Vort make his way down the road it seems he may have stalled it once....there was an ominous silence followed by starter motor and heavy revving........

Yeah, that bloody tall first gear and dry clutch, although much better now I have upped the teeth on the rear sprocket, could probably do with a few more though as 100mph comes around far to easy !!! and yes , my clock's actually read real speed !!!!!
A vdue with working clocks !!! even rarer!!!! |

Hey Scouse....We'll have less of the "manc" stuff...ya scouser.....You'll have to get some 4-stroke miles in before the TT matey....all you know how to ride this year is 2-strokes......I've parked mine up now and re-calibrating my brain for 4-strokes...albeit still twins......... |
