Yeh...theres several of us on here that have used a bike Courier that we trust for transporting bikes in and around europe/to the UK....Hungarys part of the EU so no issue with borders/taxes etc....as Vort says though....are you permanently importing to the UK? And if so is it over or under 10 years old?

Hi Guys thanks for the replies. It's just a parts bike so I have no concerns with registration etc. I just need someone to pick it up and maybe even I can pay the shipper and they can pay the seller coz I don't know them at all.
I'll fill you in a bit on what I'm doing. I plan to race my YB4ei at the Manx Classic Races this year in the F1 class and I want a beat up (cheap) YB6 to use as a parts bike and I found this one in Hungary and want to know how to get it to the UK.

Ah...well thats a bit clearer then........several of us on here have used this company.......the owner of which Chaz Mortimer, you may be familiar with...as he used to race at the TT

http://www.chasmortimer.co.uk/motorcycle-transportation/

He does offer a system for a small fee whereby you can pay him direct to pay the seller direct....ensuring no monies are wired direct to seller...and ensuring the bike is actually there before collection......Chaz has storage facilities also so I'm sure he could hold it for you in the UK until you need it....and as you wont be registering it in the UK it makes matters a whole lot easier........Good communication from them...they call/email to say when due to collect, when collected and when arrived back etc.....

Are you bringing the parts bike home with you and the rest of your gear after the Manx weekend?
