Has anyone recently been able to source these bearings FAG 502365. I have read in previous posts but can't seem to locate any at this time.
What's the plan with this one gentlemen? |

Yes indeed it is they. Would much appreciate any guidance.
(I've tried Simply Bearings here in the UK) |

Indeed there is:-
The bearings are certainly a 'special' and made specifically by FAG for Mercedes Benz as has been previously stated somewhere.
I was racking my brains and had enquired globally how I could obtain some to no avail when I remembered that I have a pal in Germany who works at Mercedes.
I contacted him and he has been able to get a couple for me, he is bringing them with him when he comes to the TT in a couple of weeks time, BUT!! They are very expensive indeed, and even he even had to make a special order. |

Hi
Any chance of being more specific especially on price. And can we order via your friend? |

I'll post better details when I actually have them in my hand (all being well in a couple of weeks time) The price is close to €100 each, they were a special order from a company in Germany. |

Zackley.
The annoying thing is that it appears that there are only 2 options open to me.
Option #1 Bite the bullet and pay the man!
Option #2 Have the headstock spindle machined and possibly inserts made for the frame to accept a different set of bearings if that is at all possible, or failing that it may require a new spindle made or possibly both!!
It may be that the supplier might do a better deal if a realistic quantity was ordered, I know the bearing people over here usually give me discount if 10+ bearing are ordered. Either way if there are enough folk looking for the bearings please let me know and I'll see what can be done. |

What bike are they for? Will they suit any other model?
It does sound like your options are limited. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

think you are right for the KB1. I've currently got standard taper bearings installed so I cant adjust the steering angle. However its not really a detriment at the moment as the KB geometry can be adjusted in an awful lot of places so Ive just put everything in the "middle setting" and it handles lovely _________________ KB1x2, SB3 SB4 BB1 DB2 Vdue Evo YB11 RB1 Ducati MHR Suzi GS650 |

Hi,
If you have standard bearings in and do not use the taper it is a good idea to do this.
Do you have the FAG number for these bearings please. |
