Well the Bimota virus has hit me hard; only cure was to get another bimota and hopefully this will keep the symptoms at bay for a while Smile
Basically as new and mint SB8RS only 1200 miles, will give her a service and good check over and polish a bit more Smile
Anyone know how many of these pups were built, press articles suggest 150, but knowing Bimota, did they actually build them all.

nice buy Waggy !
not sure how many were built - allegedly only 300 SB8R's were built, but mine had a frame number higher than 300.............
Hope it runs better than my SB8R did - took a lot of setting-up just to make it rideable Crying or Very sad

Good stuff, they look great. Daotoys1 seems to know plenty about them, might be worth flicking him an email. Believe he also has few bits and pieces for that model for sale.

Have been giving the bike a good going over, and its a credit to previous owner to have taken such great care of her.

Previous owner had made new bars for better comfort, still have old bars.

Nice one Waggy...you certainly kept that one under wraps...as did the previous owner by the looks of it...congrats...and a power commander already fitted....you might have to ride this one rather than spending 6 months bringing her bike to factory fresh......... Laughing

Dont know how I missed the first post??? New posts snce last visit doesnt seem to always work........

Waggy,
How do you find these?? That is lovely. All you need to get next is a Santa Monica then you really will be my public enemy no1.
I remember seeing one of these in Owen Bros in Belfast. It was in for a service. Belonged to a guy in Bangor called Stark who had an SB6 and also a BB1 for his wife.
When things quieten down in work, I would really love to see this and the resto project.
Enjoy.

Very nice waggy! Looks like theres not a mark on it. Certainly looks nice with the anodized parts and splashes of carbon.
