Hi to all,
Juts wondering what sort of range you normally get out of the SB6R in a normal highway speed ride? Around 110-130kmh. with a few squirts.
Thanks |

My SB6 will do about 100 miles (160km) ... I really wouldn't go much more. My bike's tuned so probably a bit heavy on the juice _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

Hi,
Just got my 6r out for the summer.
The 6r is stated to have a 22 litre tank, but I have never checked this.
After spirited riding my fuel light "winks" at 150 miles and comes on fully at 160 miles. On re fuelling I usually put in 1 litre to every 10 miles covered. So working this back, she makes approximately 45-46 MPG and so technically a 220 mile tank range.
Only work done on the fuelling is a free flowing filter, free flowing end cans (standard down pipes), removal of the fuel "pump", which incidentally is from a lawnmower! and finally dyno'd.
I hope this helps
PS: My friends 6r (same mods), averages 50 MPG, but he does ride more sedately. |
